Monkeyin’ Around – Continued | chilliwack family photographer

Here’s a few more of last week’s photo session.  There were a few dozen (like 4.5!) and, I must say, it was rather hard to narrow it down! I was thrilled with how these turned out…and even more thrilled to hear that the Mom loved them too.   Reading these words in an email that she sent me after checking...

White Rock Rocks – Part 2

So…back to Friday, when Eric had the wonderful idea to have us join him in Abbotsford, and head out to White Rock.  We spend a few relaxing hours soaking in the sun and gorgeous view.  As Murphy’s Law would have it…the tide was in, as it is 99.9% of the time when we go to...

White Rock…ROCKS!

You’d think we were in Mexico, no?!?  When I saw the (one and only) palm tree on the White Rock promenade, I just had to take some pictures with it, and pretend for a moment that we were thousands of miles south…and Liam insisted on taking this picture of us.  While it may not be the clearest,...

Monkeyin’ Around Preview | chilliwack family photographer

Last night I had the pleasure of photographing this great, highly active family with 4 little boys! :)  Terrific, high-paced fun; not too many serious-faced pictures in the bunch I don’t think…just tons of laughs! ;)  Here’s a sneak-peak: Sorry I’ve been MIA lately….we’re caught up in this crazy ride of a whirl-wind called summer holidays.  Gymnastic camps, playing at...

Hazy, Lazy Summer Days

My kids clamor all winter long about how bored they are, there’s nothing to do/play with (to which I threaten to bring all their many toys to a thrift store), how they want to play outside (in the pouring rain) etc….and now that summer’s golden days are here, they want nothing more than to do this:...

Testing, Testing

I’m just playing around here with my new Actions Set that I bought from Eye Candy.   I’m having  fun right now testing the different actions and combinations -these are done with Buttersnap and Carnivale Color…Saturday evenings were Honeychildand I Love Candy.   These are pics I took of the kids last week Tuesday in Harrison, where we went...

Harrison Festival of the Arts

A wonderful, warm and breezy evening spent along the shores of my favorite lake, while enjoying the colorful local arts, juicy burgers, refreshing  gelato, and the joys of family. And on the way home (as if I hadn’t just taken enough pictures in Harrison), there was a drive-by-shooting of these gorgeous scenes: Cheers!

Goin’ Green | chilliwack teen/senior photographer

If truth be told… …when I first heard (and saw) the color that my niece Arlene had picked out for her grad dress…well, I guess I could say I had a few reservations.  Like “how on earth will that photograph?” and “where on earth will I take pics with a dress that colour – not...

Grad Girls 2010

My niece arranged for me to take pictures of the girls in her class right before the ceremony on June 29.  She’d heard about this farm on fairfield island from a co-worker…talk about perfect! :)  Here’s the TCS grads girls: Congrats chicks – wishin’ you all the best!!
