A Bug’s Life

Yesterday morning I got a call from an aunt of mine saying that she’d passed a VW bug completely covered in pink cherry blossoms…and that I might want to go and take some pics of it!  Thanks for the tip! :)  I had great fun photographing this bug in the morning…and then, despite the huge slobbering, barking dogs I thought I’d hazard it, and went again in the evening.  It was a great way to start and finish to the fun day that I spent with Jaedah in Steveston (pics of that coming later).  The sparkling blue paint, delicate pink petals, washed in golden sun: perfection.

Just wondering if you climbed the tree to get the ‘bird’s eye view’ one?
