Where the WILD things are. | Chilliwack Children’s Photographer

This session is the product of a crazy dream – or inspiration – that I had on Monday night on the way to bed.  I laid awake planning, scheming.  The right side of my brain kicking into over-drive… I shot these pictures the following afternoon, after spending the whole day shopping for just the right props and...

School’s In.

Well, at least the kids are super excited about going back to school.  They don’t seem to mind a bit that summer has flown by much too quickly.  Or maybe it’s youth that makes them unable to realize how fast the weeks have slipped by.  This morning was that time again.  Looking back on last...

A Visual Ode

…to the  mighty Fraser River, the majestic Mount Cheam…and fishing season. An afternoon and evening spent with family, in what has got to be one of the most gorgeous places on earth: I can hardly believe that these pictures are taken literally 2.5 kms from my front door.  We’re so blessed to live where we do!...

My Peach

Mini Vacation in Seattle

Super long post ahead.  I have a compulsive problem with over-sharing! ;) I love getting away for a few days with Eric and the kids.  It’d been a few years since we were in Seattle, and it was 6 years since we were last at the zoo, and while we love going to Vancouver, it’s...

Kawkawa Lake – July Long Weekend

Sunshine on a long weekend?  What could be finer.  Cousins bonding while boating?  Love it.  A brother and sister-in-law with a house on the lake?  Works for me! ;) Fun times had by all: Have a great day!

Guilty Pleasures

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory marshmallows on a stick, Baskin Robins ice-cream sunday, and trespassing.  Very pleasurable indeed! :) It all started with around of mini golf at the Tug Boat Junction on the way to Harrison.  I’ve eyed that place for years, thinking it’d be a great place to take family pictures.  It was great...
