I’ve been dreaming about completing this gallery wall for ages.

I purchased these frames a few months ago at Liquidation World, but the cost of 9, 15″x15″ prints from a London Drugs was holding me back (since I’m trying to save for the Nikon D700, and me and saving don’t exactly go hand in hand), so yesterday I got a brainwave: get the pics printed a printer for a fraction of the price! When I get these things in my head, every thing else (like scrubbing toilets and mopping floors) must wait! :) I’m totally happy with how they turned out – and at least this way, when I feel like switching up the pictures, I won’t have to raid my D700 piggy bank to do so! :)
I filled my lamps with sand and shells again today too. Last year, a good friend of mine was going to Mexico and I asked her if she could bring some sand back for my lamps. Well…she smuggled home 18 lbs (a tad more than I’d imagined!!) of white Caribbean sand – her luggage was VERY overweight, but thankfully they didn’t check why, or they would have confiscated it! (Although, she did have to pay an enormous overweight-luggage charge, which she refused to let me pay for!! Thanks again, J!) I LOVE the sand in my lamps, it’s like a slice of Mexico right in my living room. I also purchased these great lemon branches at Pier 1 Imports this week - just couldn’t resist their tropical feel. Aahhhh…I love re-decorating my house; almost as much as I love takin’ pictures! :)
Have a great weekend!
