Like 20ish since I went to Dinotown. Since it’s closing for good in 3 weeks I thought I really should go once with the kids: man, it’s sooo much smaller than I remember! While most things look identical to how they did when I was a kid, things are definitely looking a little run down. The kids had a great time though all the same, and I had a great time (as ever) taking tons of pics. I wasn’t too helpful on our many boat rides, I’m afraid, as I was more intent on getting some good shots of the kids. It was always my favorite ride, and it was a little like stepping back into some bizarre time-warp; it was as if no time at all had passed since I rode around, and around, and around that little island myself with my cousins, friends…and my mom. Such great memories: of years past, and new ones freshly made.

And then, because I promised Jaedah I would, and because I know you’ve been waiting so anxiously…I thought I’d include some pictures taken on by Jaedah on her camera. :) Here’s some of the kids cooling off in the hot (right now at a cool 87 degrees) tub yesterday. Fun times being had above and below the water! I really want to invest in an underwater housing for my camera so that I can take fun and amazing underwater pics too, like this photographer’s (scroll down to her breath-taking post dated August 2, titled “hold your breath”)!!
