What is it about border line-ups and Murphy’s law?! I’m ALWAYS in the wrong line. Unfortunately, I don’t suffer this gracefully, and within seconds of noticing that, yes indeed, I’ve picked the wrong line yet again, my blood pressure sky-rockets, I get shifty, and unchoice words begin to pour forth. I always find my asking aloud ”what is wrong with these egotistical, power-trippin’ guards??” and “how on earth does my sister do this ever day??” and “I wonder if I could use this to my benefit and try and practise some much needed (and sorely lacking) patience?!” …which I tried once again today, to no avail.
I decided to cross the border today (“how often do you cross the border??” and “what made you choose today to cross??” to which I replied “why not…??”), after dropping off my Opa and Oma at the Abbotsford airport…because I had to do a little switcheroo on 2 pairs of shoes! I had a party here last night, and in the dark one of the ladies accidentally wore the wrong shoes home…and left my sister-in-law with her pair, which she tried to cram on her foot to no avail! :)

When we got back home I thought I’d head out and take another of my NYIP course pictures (of a building), and this little dude of mine thought it was great fun to run into the picture! :) I got this other shot of the place while he was indoors playing. I’m trying to distract from the lack of landscaping by showing off those beautiful dandelions instead! ;)
Liam’s favorite time of day is Jaedah’s home-coming from school. He asks at least 4 times a day (starting at about 9:30) “in how many minutes is Jaedah going to come home??” BIG excitement when the moment finally arrives!

The rest of the afternoon was a crazy mixture of drizzle, raindrops the size of gumballs, wind, and finally sun….which I hope sticks around for tomorrow morning’s photo session!! Lookin’ forward to it! :)
