Maybe the it seemed strange of me to say “I AM A PHOTOGRAPHER!” like that….but sometimes, even though I’m taking pictures all the time, I don’t always feel like one. Maybe it’s a confidence thing or maybe it’s just being cautious, but I really feel that you’ve gotta earn the right (if you want to call it that?!?) to call yourself a photographer. Just ’cause I’m constantly behind my lens, doesn’t make me a PHOTOGRAPHER…just like if someone tinkers under the hood of their car, it doesn’t make them a MECHANIC perse….see what I’m saying? ;) So yeah, sometimes I have these really profound “Aha!! I did it!!” moments, and thursday eve was of them! :)

Beautiful and perfect. Yes, you ARE a photographer… and more important A ARTIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes, I believe it take a artistic eye, and you’ve got it, and so does your daughter, just by her comment. another set of gorgeous shots! I love the opaque evening colors too. Last night I watched the sun set on our sparkling creek and later in the evening while sitting on my bike I saw the moon reflected in the same calm waters. I thought of you and your camera both times! Yes, you ARE a photographer and a good one to boot!!
