I may not have been wearing a gown or cap, while teetering across a stage on heels in front of a large crowd, to receive my diploma – instead I was wearing a roxy t-shirt, and bare feet in crocks as I walked, alone, to get my diploma from my mailbox…but today I became a graduate all the same. My long awaited certificate of graduation arrived, and I have officially graduated from the New York Institute of Photography!
I took the full 3 years allowed, to complete the course…and I confess the only reason that it took me that long, is because I dreaded the 4th unit about studio lighting and posing. That is sooo not my thing, and yet it had to be completed - however, when I finally knuckled down and got to work, I finished the last 1/2 of my course in just 3 months!
Here’s the evidence of my hard (but fun, interesting and inspiring) work:

And these are the photo projecs that I submitted over the past 3 years:

PS I’m fine with the lack of gown and cap – who on earth invented those ghastly, shapeless things anyway?!?! :)
