Saturday afternoon was our 3rd (and last, I promise :)) trip to Tulip Mania. Last week we missed the artist, plus this week there was a falcon and an owl from the zoo there…so despite the rain we headed out in our scruffy Saturday work clothes to take in the sights and music. Jaedah had fun making her graffiti art (can you tell it’s her name?), and they loved the musician too. Of course they were too scared to pose for a picture holding either of the birds. {We should perhaps have brought that falcon a tasty treat by the name of Charlie who insists on pooping, not in the litter pan, but in the food and water dishes time and time again! Just kidding – it’s a good thing he’s so cute! ;)}
This week promises to include coffee with child-hood friends, a field trip to a dairy farm (can you believe it’s field trip time already??), parent-teacher conference (can believe the 3rd marking period is over already??), and a special day out with my daughter. Should be good – hope your week is too! :)
