These days are a a blur. Life is in general – so I’m not sure why I’m feeling so surprised at how fast these last weeks of school went by. Today is Sports Day…and tomorrow grade 1 is done! So, I guess it’s only fitting that I post a picture of Jaedah starting the school year (the one of her in the middle of the road with 1 finger up), in addition to others from last year. At least that’s what I’m telling myself. I reality, this is a bit of a consolation post…because I haven’t done a stitch of editing all week…and today there’ll be even more pictures joining the others in my “To Be Edited” folder. Next week, with no lunches to pack or uniforms to wash, there will (or should) be scads of time. :)
There’s a rather ludicrous number of pictures here to share from 2009. I simply couldn’t narrow it down. I’m hoping that that is a reflection of my photography skills?! ;) The pictures include those of Jaedah getting her ear surgery in May (she had no antihelix in either ear – go google that!); we spent almost 2 weeks in Ontario with Eric’s entire family – all but 5 of the 32 of us out here in BC went for his Mom and Dad’s 40th anniversary; had various other summer fun in Osoyoos and Penticton; and had Eric’s Dad stay with us for 9 weeks while he did the rock on the house – GREAT job, Dad!!
