One, the Sand Castle Building Field Trip, at the end of the school year. The other, 6 weeks later; a full day of basking in the sun with family and friends. Each day wonderful in its own way…it’s just the 6 weeks later part that freaks me out. How is it possible that we’re more than 1/2 way through the summer holidays?? I’ve merely blinked, and here we are, only 4 weeks today from the first day of 2nd grade and kindergarten. I’m in denial and know it…this is NOT something that I’m ready for.
We’d better try and pack a whole LOT of summer fun into next week’s 4th annual vacation in Osoyoos with friends!! We might be nearly going into fall (I kid you not – Winners is selling it’s usual ghastly Halloween stuff, and Costco?! Its got Christmas trees and lights lined up!)…but we’re not going without a fight!
On a positive note, however, I am overjoyed that I just caught up on 2 months worth of pictures in my “to be edited” folder! Three cheers to that! :)
