You’ve Got Mail

The old-fashioned kind.  I love seeing that red flag up on our battered and rusted old mailbox…especially when the contents inside include a Child Care check, a new Kraft What’s Cooking magazine…and no bills! :)

And I adore the napes of my kids’ vulnerable, soft, sweet necks.  Kissing them is even better.

And my favorite time of day: basking in the peaceful, buttery light just before sundown…photographing golden, sun-kissed clover (or anything else, really).

{Let me know what you think…I’d love to hear from you, and appreciate your comments and feedback.  Thanks! :) }

Cheers!

Yup, it’s a “new, old house” – meant to look like there was the old rock house and yellow garage, and the other white pieces were added after! :) Trace Wisse did a GREAT job!!

Love your website Kristy. Very creative way of taking pictures. The pencil drawing is well done too! There’s something about seeing the world through a lens that changes how we see things!
Keep up the good work!

Sharing is caring! ;) Even though you may not have too much grass etc, I see you are still getting outside and taking tons of great pics!

Oh! The clover is so lovely. I love that light. It is my favorite. : ) And I also love those kissable necks. I was just trying to kiss my sons tonight and he shoooed me away. Darn growing up!

Thank you! I have a thing for clover – hence my new background! :) Seriously, those wonderful warm spring/summer evenings make me wax poetic – I just can’t help myself; they’re so blissful…especially when the kids are in bed already! ;)

As always…. love your pictures! Plus…. you’re poetic girl… peaceful, buttery light and golden, sun-kissed clover! Makes me wanna go lie down in the grass!!! {but it’s raining, so I won’t!}

Have a great Friday!
